A note from Tim Allen, Course Superintendent

Dear Members,

We recently sprayed fairways to suppress the Bermuda growth.  This is done 2-3 times each summer, depending on weather conditions.  You will likely notice the color has turned yellow-ish to brown on the Zoysia and Bermuda. The Bermuda is much more aggressive than the Zoysia, and will easily overtake the preferred Zoysia.  We are also trying to catch up with mowing, we'll probably have mowers out this weekend......weather permitting !!
